Evidence-Based Care

Treatment

Stillpoint Practice provides individualized, evidence-based therapy and treatment for adults facing the stress of life or a formal diagnosis. We offer both face-to-face and virtual appointments to adults located in Florida.

PTSD Treatment

Stillpoint offers formal PTSD diagnostic evaluations as well as evidence-based PTSD treatment using gold-standard modalities: Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE). Clients completing either of these treatments generally report significant symptom reduction within 8-10 treatment sessions.

Exposure Therapy for Specific Phobias

Exposure-based therapy is a highly effective treatment for clinical and sub-clinical level phobias. Exposure exercises are jointly designed by client and therapist, together. Dr. Stentz takes the hands-on approach of modeling exposures alongside the client for maximum comfort and benefit.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a structured, goal-oriented therapy that addresses the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It is effective for a wide range of concerns including anxiety, stress, and adjustment difficulties.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills

DBT skills help clients manage difficult emotions, navigate stressful situations, and improve relationships and boundaries. Sessions focus on practical strategies for mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication.
