Dr. Lauren A. Stentz

M.S., Ph.D. · Florida Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Lauren A. Stentz is a Florida Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the founder of Stillpoint Practice, PLLC. She earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Florida State University. She grew up an Army brat and worked at Walter Reed doing amputee rehabilitation prosthetics research prior to obtaining her PhD. She completed a year of trauma-specific clinical training at the James A. Haley VA and later accepted a position with the VA's Post-Deployment Rehabilitation and Evaluation (PREP) Program tailored to treating PTSD and TBI among populations with multiple deployments (primarily SOF).

With experience treating Special Operations Forces, Dr. Stentz brings a deep understanding of the psychological demands placed on those who serve in high-stakes environments and the humor and confidentiality required to develop a treatment relationship. Her approach is grounded in respect for confidentiality, clinical rigor, and a genuine commitment to her clients' well-being.
